3-D Projects designed, researched and curated a contemporary museum and visitor experience within the significant heritage structures of the York Police Station, Courthouse and Gaol complex that date from 1852.
New works include a range of freestanding signage structures, relics showcases, shop and reception furniture, courtyard decking, sound-scapes, lighting and display systems that comprise a distinctive new interpretive layer to the complex while evoking the original working arrangement and multiple histories of the place.
Stage 1 completed June 2003.
